Bosque Del Apache

Bosque del Apache is Spanish for "woods of the Apache," and is rooted in the time when the Spanish observed Apaches routinely camped in the riverside forest. This wildlife preserve in southern New Mexico is one of the preeminent sites in the USA for photographing migratory birds including  snow geese,  ducks, sandhill cranes, and bald eagles .
